Snug Science Science of Happy snug [snuhg] adjective warmly comfortable or cozy, as a place, accommodations, etc.: a snug little house. science [sahy-uh ns] noun the knowledge so obtained or the practice of obtaining it . (definitions cited from www.dictionary.com) The primary aim when we setup the company was to create winter clothing for babies which would keep them warm and cosy whether it be the peak of the New York winter or roaming a ski village. The word Snug to us epitimises how we want our babies to feel when in these enviroments.
We have been amazed by the improvements in outdoor wear over the last few decades, with continuous improvements in fabrics and construction. During our first few cold New York and London winters with our baby we were surprised to find a lot of these advances were not being taken advantage of in the baby market.
The principles we apply to Snug Science products revolve around 3 foundations, Design, Materials and Construction. These define the heart of the company.
After countless subsequent prototypes and safety testing, we are finally ready to launch the first product, the Snug² in Winter 2011/12. The launch waited until we were 100% happy with the product. We are confident you will be too.
